Hello! I want to let you know that I am so excited to have your child in our class this year. Together, we will make your child's kindergarten year fun, exciting, challenging, and most of all... ENJOYABLE!
My goal this school year is to create a warm, positive learning environment which fosters success and attainment of high self-esteem in each child.
Throughout the school year, your child will be exposed to many different kinds of learning experiences. Included will be math and science skills, language and literature experiences, and motor and social development. Integrated into these will be work stations, journal writing, and an introduction to a variety of literature.
Keeping parents regularly informed and involved in their child's education is a high priority of mine. When parents know what is happening at school, they are better able to discuss and reinforce activities with their children. Therefore, I will be sending home weekly notes and bulletins, as well as, updating this blog. Your invovlement and support are most valuable to the success of your child and I do appreciate it.
I'm excited about the new school year and together, I know we will make your child's year a great one!
