Character Counts at Southdale!!!! :0) This is a first grade student who came back to kindergarten to encourage our students to make Christmas cards for soldiers who will be away from their families over the holidays. What a great act of kindness! We thank her and her family for putting this project together and for thinking of the men and women who serve our country! :0)

 What a great example you set for others! Thanks for being a Southdale kid with character!

 Here we are making our special cards! We even played holiday music to get into the spirit! :0)

Our Halloween FUN!

 OOOhhhh - some enjoyed putting their hands right in - others - not so much. One student said that when he put his hands in the pumpkin, it made him "choke". I believe he meant GAG - by the expression that I witnessed.

 Yes!  We made it to the computer lab today for our very first time! We are ready to go every 6 days and explore some really great sites for kids! You already have experts in the area of technology!!

 We brought in some really beautiful leaves for sorting!
